More Travels Along the Oregon Trail.

And now I'm all happily caught up with my block of the month quilting blocks. The pattern for March is called Traveler's Star.


I will admit, I'm not crazy about the lightest fabric choice. It's a little busy for my taste, but I do love the blue fabric. Sometimes the neutral Civil War reproductions read a little funny to me, but I love the shades of blue that were produced back then. I always find them to be rich, elegant colors, but still mellow.

Anyway, now that I'm more than halfway through I should probably start working on putting the quilt together. I've got an idea that I've sketched out, and it should work out beautifully. As soon as I get the first few blocks put together, I'll share!
