Well, at this point I had finished the fabric, rinsed it a bunch (In my experience, red dye always bleeds a ton when you self-dye), and ironed it out and looked for the spots I wanted to use in the quilt. This quilt is the first time I've used fusible web, and man, it was awesome! Cut out my leaf shapes, played with the placement, then ironed them on. Fabulous!
Here's one of the leaves:
See how the little shibori lines run through the fabric like veins of a leaf? Totally what I was after. For this quilt, I decided to hand-quilt using a perle cotton, for a little bit heavier quilting stitch. (Also the first time I've used perle cotton. This quilt was full of firsts!)
I used a 12 weight, so it's heavier than regular quilting thread, but not too huge. I just echo quilted around the different leaves, and then leaf groups.
I used the leftover dyed fabric for the border, and the binding. All in all, this quilt only used three fabrics: The background, which is a nice cream fabric with a little branch/leaf print; the yellow/gold dyed fabric; and the red/chestnut dyed fabric.
Next, the finished quilt!

I love your leaf! Let me know if you ever want to experiment with natural dyes.
